The Hockey Hall of Fame added three great defensemen for 2004. Ray Bourque, Paul Coffey and Larry Murphy played during the same NHL era and produced phenominal numbers during their careers. Former Calgary and Toronto general manager Cliff Fletcher was also chosen in the builders' category by the 18-member selection committee.
