Jaromir Jagr moves to the Big Apple

The long expected trade between the Washington Capitals and New York Rangers was finally consumated yesterday. The Caps sent Jaromir Jagr to the Rangers for Anson Carter. The Caps are also on the hook for about $4.5 million of Jagr's salary in each of the next four years. This should make the Rangers one of the most star-studded teams (on paper) with Jagr, Lindros, Kovalev, Messier, Leetch, etc ... but no number one goalie.

it was great to kick Carter out since he was not the greatest forward they expected him to be and when Jagr came over to NYC the Rangers knew all the other teams had another thing coming. Jagr had racked up so many points with the Caps but think about what he will do for the all famous NY Rangers. He is the ultimate Ranger.
