Orr lashes out at Bettman and Goodenow

The current National Hockey League labour dispute has lasted 221 days and over the weekend one of the sport's greatest players ripped into both sides. NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and players union chief Bob Goodenow aren't in Bobby Orr's good books as the former Bruins great warned in an Eagle-Tribune op-ed piece that hockey was on the verge of becoming irrelevant due to a refusal to compromise. "With the unacceptable lack of progress and the continued bickering, I am no longer convinced that there was a genuine interest in getting a fair deal done," wrote Bobby Orr.
